This Hybrid's Story

Excellent offensive choice, 4805 has the yield punch that compares with 110-111 RM hybrids. Strong emergence, stand establishment, and solid canopy, builds a medium plant with good intactness through harvest. Very low risk of greensnap along with solid drought hardiness and good defense against Goss Wilt enhance the western performance. 4805 has a long, semi-flex ear type, that will respond to increased seeding rate as total management increases. A hybrid that responds very well to post applied fungicide, avoid saturated soil conditions.

Key Characteristics

Strong Emergence
Low greensnap risk
Avoid poorly drained soils

This Hybrid's Story

This hybrid has impressive top end yield, with a strong backbone of stress tolerance led by root strength. The semi-determinate ear is blocky with good kernel count that can produce under more stressed conditions and at the same time is able to yield at the top end with increased seeding rates. 5045’s moderate plant stature assists the stalk strength and late standability. Use caution on light, sandy soils, high pH soils and steep slopes due to moderate plant size, especially in tough conditions.

This Hybrid's Story

Defensive to all-purpose to strong yield environments. Heat and drought tolerance lead the agronomic package that performs in tougher, moderate yield environments. 5110 has shown great consistency across soil types and years. Strong in moderate planting rates, with deep kernel flex that responds to foliar fungicide. The plant size is built for rolling, variable farms with size to roll up steeper slopes, take higher pH hillsides, clay bottoms, and still bring home the yield.

This Hybrid's Story

Outstanding yield performance. A hybrid that is quite adaptable, and would place in above-average to high-yield environments for the greatest return on your investment. Overall stalk health is very good, with late season staygreen and plant intactness. Moderate plant height helps assist 5230’s late season standability. Emergence is above average with very good uniformity and stand establishment. Excels under irrigation and high management. The flex ear allows moderate seeding rates and great response to variable rate seeding. Plant it and hold on to your hat!

This Hybrid's Story

Very high and consistent yields in Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky. Tolerates wet soils exceedingly well. A compact plant that has a broad stance with canopy and deep, rich color. 5303 is simply a sugar factory with a girthy, yet semi-determinate ear that will excel with higher seeding rates. The overall stress tolerance, particularly the ability to withstand heat and longer periods without rainfall make a strong, yet high performing hybrid for the central corn belt and mid-south.
